Dispatches from the Stanley Mosk LA Superior Courthouse

so one of the election campaigns i recently won is being challenged in court.

notes from the propagandist's week in court:

  1. as we intervened in the case (long story) i looked around the audience and realized that a majority of the people in the courtroom were my attorneys. ha. i felt like montgomery burns.

  2. do not yell at the defense counsel while the judge is still in the courtroom. even if he does agree with you that the lawyer is an idiot.

  3. lawyer in #2 does not like being asked if he recieved his law degree while in prison.

  4. walking out the front door to the courtyard, all the attorneys in their dark suits look like $300/hour pidgeons flocking around the starbucks kiosk.

  5. during closing arguments, if the judge says "you know what? i don't believe a word your client said," that might not be a good sign.
