Few words, big impact.

paul krugman points out (with a graph, no less!) the hypocrisy of the bush administration.

there is so much bullshit coming out of the whitehouse and the congress, but none of it seems to stick to the bastards shitting it. i mean:

  • ONE HOUR with the 9-11 commission? oh, i'm sorry, only the chair and vice-chair of the commission. unprecedented, my ass.

  • scalia and cheney. need i say more? sure. scalia and the urban family council. scalia taking hunting trips and then siding with those paying.

  • ashcroft WON'T use federal databases to see if terrorist suspects purchased guns, and now wants to destroy records of firearms purchases (and the attendant background checks) within 24 hours. but he WILL subpeona planned parenthood for woman's medical records. at least this uber-christian is getting a forced lesson in karma.

  • halliburton.

  • iraq.

  • valerie plame.

  • recess appointments of fascist judges.

  • silberman as a co-chair of a non-partisan commission?

  • florida. yes, it still pisses me off.

why do these fuckers get away with it? why monica, whitewater, henry cisneros, and all the tangential starr targets, but not one real investigation of halliburton, florida's vote tallies, cheney and the energy commission, ken lay and his connections to bush...nothing.

    okay, i'll stop.
